Resumo:
The graphical display modes occupy an increasingly
significant place in the digital mediation devices to see and
understand. They rely on modes of visual representation
whose aim is to provide the user with a qualitative
understanding of a large volume of information, simplifying
the process of cognition and thus acquire new knowledge.
In our work we have categorized the different types
of graphical and interactive visualization by equations
corresponding to three levels of information processing:
sensory, perceptual and cognitive development. This
article will attempt to demonstrate how they contribute
to the intellectual process by which users are able to make
sense of a complex reality and how they take advantage
in the construction of knowledge. Finally, we will see
how these different display modes apply and contribute
to the accumulation of knowledge through the case of an
interactive digital device legal mediation.
