Resumo:
O presente artigo visa apresentar uma pesquisa, ainda em andamento, que tem por objetivo compreender a formação de uma memória religiosa constituída no contexto peculiar da Baixada Fluminense na região metropolitana do Rio de Janeiro, em especial a partir da produção documental da Diocese de Nova Iguaçu. A metodologia utilizada para tal proposta será a História Oral, que possibilitará o contato com um tipo de documento amplamente debatido na atualidade, a narrativa. Além disso, será efetuada uma análise comparativa entre documentos arquivísticos da Diocese de Nova Iguaçu e documentos produzidos e acumulados em nível pessoal, por seus membros leigos, como fontes da memória e suportes para a construção de narrativas. Abstract This article aims at to present a research, still in progress, that it has for objective to understand the formation of a consisting religious memory in the lowered peculiar context of the Baixada Fluminense, in the metropolitan region of Rio de Janeiro, in special from the documentary production of the Diocese de Nova Iguaçu. The methodology used for such proposal will be Oral History, that it will make possible the contact with a type of widely debated document in the present time, the narrative. Moreover, will be effected a comparative analysis between arquivístics documents of the Diocese de Nova Iguaçu and documents produced and accumulated in personal level, for its lay members, as sources of the memory and supports for the construction of narratives.
